Being we have a limited amount to time to spend as a group at the Ohel please abide with the following guidelines.
Friday is when we travel as a group to the Ohel. Each Shlucha is allotted 2 minutes inside the Ohel. If you wish to spend more time at the Ohel you can visit any other time during the weekend. Please be mindful that it is cold for others to wait outside. Be courteous to you fellow Shluchos whether old, young, with babies etc. and don’t prolong your stay in the Ohel.
Please listen to the security people and Vaad members who are there to make a Seder and make sure that everyone gets a chance to read her Pan and say a Kapital Tehillim.
Prepare your Pan before arriving at the Ohel so that you can get a lift back to Crown Heights with the bus. Buses will depart by 11:00 am. Snacks will be on the buses.
Please wear non-leather shoes or boots so we can eliminate a backlog at the entrance/exit of the Ohel.
Workshops and sessions on Thursday, 23 Shevat will be taking place at Leonard's Palazzo, 555 Northern Boulevard in Great Neck.
Buses will depart from Oholei Torah between 9:00-10:00am. There will be shuttle buses throughout the day starting at 11:30am leaving every half hour from the Jewish Children's Museum. The last bus will leave from Crown Heights at 5:30pm.
Buses are being arranged to Leonard's Palazzo from the Ohel from 9:30-10:30am. Reservations are required. Click here to register.
In order to be of service we have instituted a Live Help Line. If you have questions and do not know whom to address you can email email@example.com or Whatsapp 860-546-8718 for answers. There are usherettes and Vaad members who are happy to provide any information during the programs. Please be sensitive and use this service for important matters only as not to overload the system. Please indicate if the matter is urgent.
If you are renting a cell phone upon arrival in New York and want to receive the updated information please make sure to update your phone number. This will allow you to remain current, receive reminders and changes.
Friday nights can be cold, your walk to Oholei Torah can be far, you don't want to walk alone at night: We have a solution!
In an effort to facilitate the Shluchos who are hesitant or cannot participate in the Friday night Farbrengen, we will be hosting Farbrengens at various locations throughout Crown Heights. The smaller crowds will provide for more intimate Farbrengens. Join your fellow Shluchos and share your thoughts. Each location will feature a multi generational panel.
One of the most anticipated events of the Kinus is the visit to the Ohel and the reading of the Pan Kloli on behalf of the family of Shluchos. We will visit the Ohel on Friday, 24 Shevat. Click here to add the names of you and your loved ones to the Pan Kloli.
